Volunteer with the RSO!
Orchestras don’t run on musicians alone — that’s why we need you! Help the RSO run as smoothly as possible, and get access to all of our great concerts and events.
How can I help?
We are seeking volunteers for the following positions:
Ushering
Duties: Help audience members to their seats; maintain orderliness during concerts; answer audience questions; all these duties under the supervision of the House Manager
Ticketing
Duties: Use Eventbrite “Organizer” to scan tickets; take traditional tickets; validate special ticket types such as VIP, senior, and student tickets; all these duties under the supervision of the General Manager.
Box Office
Duties: Use Eventbrite “Organizer” to sell tickets at the door; handle cash payments; and handle electronic payments; all these duties under the supervision of the General Manager.
Stage Crew
Duties: Set-up and strike the stage; ensure safe and efficient changes to the stage; work lighting and sound equipment; and coordinate with House Manager.
